No I think he's looking for Ship System Display's (SSDs) which are used in the game.
Starfleetgames has SSDs available for with most modules, that you have to buy, but there are numerous sites with both official and fan made SSDs available for free for Star Trek, and I believe for some for other SciFi as well.
A quick list of what I know is out there:
http://sfbuniverse.wikispaces.com/SSDhttp://www.starfleetgames.com/sfb/tourn ... down.shtmlhttp://www.smileylich.com/sfb/http://www.caddocourt.com/sfb/http://www.phdship.com/I was able to find the game -Captain's Edition as well as the (freely downloadable on ADB's page) Cadet Handbook-; however, so far I've been unable to play it.
I recommend the third one; there're lots of ships, both from The Next Generation and other sci-fi settings (Star Wars, Babylon 5...), and that resemble more the ships we see on the screen than the ADB SSDs; the problem of SFB is that its license just covers the TOS era and the TAS (?) -the Kzinti, I guess-, so there's no way to see for example "official" Borg ships there (and the Klingons look like those of good ol' ST:TOS).
Don't forget the Andromedans; I've seeing their ships and, although don't know how work PAs -except for alternate rules-, they seem to be quite nasty.
