Adventures of Captain Marvel now on DVD!

Post by Glocksman »

The old Republic Pictures serial Adventures of Captain Marvel is now on DVD.
Fans of the old Fawcett/DC 'Shazam' will love this.

Original trailer in .mpg format
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."- General Sir Charles Napier

Holy Fuck. I mean, minus the bad acting, that's got better effects than most stuff today.

Even cooler, is I know how they do most of it.

Minus the "bad acting?"

That's 2/3 of what makes it so great!

(Plus another 7/16 style, and 3/7 overall coolness.)

(I know, I know, I'm not good at all that math business.)

The best part was that I found it at my local public library.
Needless to say, DVD Decrypter is installed on my computer.

515/336 is kind of a bit over a whole thingie, which means there's 199/336 that makes it suck ass, but nobody cares what that is.

If that's what I think it is, you're really not supposed to say stuff like that.
