Thoughts on the musical "Hamilton"?

Directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton is a play about the life of Alexander Hamilton told in the form of rap and hip-hop. People are saying it's revolutionary for Broadway, and after listening to the cast album, nearly 3 hours long, I've got to say it's very well done. Has anyone else listened to it?
