Not enough people have the raw skill to do such amazing modeling work and with the advent of 3D rendering it's becoming a lost art. Great work.

A decision must be made in the life of every nation at the very moment when the grasp of the enemy is at its throat. Then, it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy, to rest survival upon what is expedient, to look the other way. Well, the answer to that is 'survival as what'? OMG. thank you so much guys. Im going to tell you something.
each of you have this ability. I created this by just eyeballing it. no schematics. I t was my first attempt at a scratch build. everything was hand cut from styrene 100%.
If I can do this I guarantee any of you can.

I will add one more thing. I am going to be doing the ASSERTOR Superstar destroyer to scale. I will be starting in about a week. I will keep you updated if this is something you maybe interested in seeing. I will be cataloging its construction from scratch the same as I did the Bellator.

While you are correct that everybody COULD do this, few have the dedication to pull this off. The sheer time needed pouring over countless pictures to determine the correct shapes is a huge deterrent.

To say it with a quote - "This is a beautiful model. I would expect the man who made it to show the same care and devotion in every aspect of his life."
A minute's thought suggests that the very idea of this is stupid. A more detailed examination raises the possibility that it might be an answer to the question "how could the Germans win the war after the US gets involved?" - Captain Seafort, in a thread proposing a 1942 'D-Day' in Quiberon Bay

Hi Ansel! I am going to do my best. Its going to be a monster project. it will be 112 inches long, maybe 4 -6 months to build. But I will put everything I have into this. It is really nice to feel appreciated.

seriously guys. I want each of you to know what you are all capable of. You all have skill, you all have patience, you all have creativity. I know that if each person here learned to be gentle with themselves and be compassionate to your own mind you would discover just how amazing you each can be.

Damn, and I was proud of myself for scratch-building a mordor siege tower from kebab skewers, card and easter egg foil.

That is a wonderful model - congratulations on a job well done !

What's the size of the model ? Looks like it's more than a meter long.

Two things. First, to say this model is fantastic would be an understatement. The attention to detail is just mind boggling. I hope to see more models from you in the future (when you have the time, of course).

Second, are you the same WhiteTiger that made those Andromeda style starships way back when?

Yes. I still have one left on my deviant art page. I lost almost everything else when my old laptop crashed. I actually have quite a few miniatures that I had done for the Babylon 5 game as well. about 200 LOL. I can post those as well I guess and my TMP Enterprise.

I wanted to give you all an update. I've been very busy, I am sorry for not participating much. I built a replica of my Moms Church for her. They are closing the doors and it really broke here heart. While I was making the BELLATOR I wanted to make it for her to ease the pain. I have finished it and I have begun now Making Ansel's ASSERTOR Star dreadnought. It is NOT to scale. In the event I had to move it, I needed to be able to take it out if my Basement. However as it sits the Shell is 7 1/2 feet long. I will post pictures of its construction...over the next 22 years...*takes a shot of tequila*.
...
*Takes another shot of Tequila*
Now that I have forsaken any life beyond this I truly hope you all enjoy this Model
