As part of the Simpson Movie promotions 7-11 converted 150 of their stores to Kwik E Marts. One of them is in Las Vegas. I went to visit it today.

It's somewhere on Broadway. I live out in Glendale, so that would take me quite a bit out of my way unless I specifically planned a trip there. (Didn't realize anyone on the board was that close to where I lived.

Those are 7-elevens temporarily converted into Kwik - E - Mart. So maybe your local 7-eleven has been converted too.

I wonder if they've done here in Canada.

Bwhahaha, nice. I've heard about this 7-Eleven promotion, but I was under the impression that was going to be just a simple change of facade on the stores, but there are more details.

Yes, the krusty o's and buzz cola are merchandise. The staff wears kwik e mart shirts. And theres is a life sized apu behind the counter. The staff declined to be photographed.

Too bad the only Canadian 7-Eleven being turned into a Quik-E-Mart is way out in Vancouver, but I hear that most of the other stores will also be selling the Simpsons merchandise

The one closest to my place is in Mountainview. That's sort of near San Francisco.

I went to the one just outside of Disney. They were out of Krusty-Os, so I bought two cans of Buzz (saved the cans too) and three issues of the Radioactive Man origin edition.

It was awkward when my mom said that one morning she would drive down to the Kwik-e-Mart to pick up some Krusty-Os.

Goddammit, this is NOT fair! According to the 7-11 website, there are two Kwik-E-Marts in Canada, and they're both in BC! One's in Vancouver, and one's in Coquitlan. Toronto is the largest fucking city in the entire country by a country mile! Why don't we get one? Why does BC get both of them? Where the fuck is Coquitlan anyway? What does that word even mean? It sounds like something Native Americans use to wipe themselves.

Eh? As far as I can tell by clicking on the link for the specific store on the 7-Eleven website, there is only a single Kwik-E-Mart in BC, located in Coquitlan, which is a small suburban city bordering Vancouver, and is often considered to be part of Vancouver itself (probably why both citys' names were included in the link).

Fucking awesome. According to the website, there's a Kwik-E-Mart literally one block away from our apartment!
