This is pre-WWII. You can sort of tell from the sketch style, from thee way it refers to Japan (Japan in the 1950s was still rebuilding from WWII), the spelling of Tokyo, lots of details. Nothing obvious... except that the upper right hand corner of the page reads "November 1931." --- Simon_Jester

Heh. Didn't you post something along those lines when I put that comic in the first pony image thread? You should notice that he already has his cutie mark, so that means his special talent and thing he enjoys doing has something to do with the family farm anyway. He's just upset because he got a sucky apple-day present.

Agreed. That even sounds like Fluttershy's VA doing the singing for the middle parts. I can't even tell if they reused the actual audio for the initial "Hush now, quiet now" and the ending "yay".
