Since I don't want to resurrect (muahahahahah!) the chat pic thread, I'll put this here.

The chat lately:

A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

"The rest of the poem plays upon that pun. On the contrary, says Catullus, although my verses are soft (molliculi ac parum pudici in line 8, reversing the play on words), they can arouse even limp old men. Should Furius and Aurelius have any remaining doubts about Catullus' virility, he offers to fuck them anally and orally to prove otherwise." - Catullus 16, Wikipedia

Wow, that was absolutely awesome.
When two opposite points of view are expressed with equal intensity, the truth does not necessarily lie exactly halfway between them. It is possible for one side to be simply wrong.

IIRC, a similar issue was brought up regarding a photo that had an oddly-positioned Death Star photoshopped into the sky... It would seem that there's no real reason for the Death Star to be oriented in any specific way relative to a planet. There's no "up" or "down" in space, after all. In fact, if tehy're planning to blow up the planet as the picture implies, rotating the DS so that the superlaser dish is facing "down", that is, toward the planet, would be either necessary or advantageous (depending on the Death Star model used... IIRC, the original could only fire "straight ahead", while the DSII could fire anywhere within a certain range of angles from the dish).

You might have been joking anyway, so I was probably just babbling for nothing. :P

Hey, not bad for only playing with Z-95s in the Abregado-rae System Security Wing during the height of the Clone Wars. :D

And Death Stars can't be "upside down".
