Bungie denies it, but they also denied rather penetrating questions about Halo 2, so you never know.

That being said, I dearly hope that Cortana isn't a 2-bit hooker and Master Chief has better dialogue than Neo. Video Game movies aren't known for a good track record.

Both Old and New News- If you think Legendary is hard, there are Oddballs hidden around the single player levels, usually on Legendary The one in Cairo Station makes every Elite upgrade to Spec-Ops with Dual PRs and a Sword for up close, and every Grunt upgrade to Spec-Ops, also. Not sure what it do...

One thing I found amusing was staring at people: Corporal Perez-type Marine- "Sir, you're freaking me out, Sir." Female Redhead "Tight Quarters"-type Marine- "So... You gonna ask me out or something?" Female Redhead "Tight Quarters"-type Marine- "Yeah, that's why they call it a breastplate." Did any...

Several sources have said that if the game is completed on Legendary, something different will happen when the credits roll. At the very end of the credits a line will come up saying... "Coming Feburary 9th" I expect we are looking at more single player levels to be released on that date. Confirmed...

In the current global climate, nuclear war and full-out total war are much less likely than urban combat and special operations missions. While still a problem, it's much less likely that a nuclear bomb or some artillery is going to rain on a SPARTAN's day. Heck, that's what they were designed for (...

No, they just fire really fast, do lots of damage, and come in alrge numbers. Especially when they have what amounts to support machine guns set up [even on Normal, the two of those in the first level can cut down the Chief in seconds.] Speaking of which, the names are interesting: Sangheili: Elites...

Would said country still have to kidnap children at 6? That would narrow down the publicity of it.

I say yes. Not only that, since the suit runs on an internal fusion battery, the US Military's scientists would get some fun trying to figure out how it works.

Supposedly, since Elites are promoted based on their kill ratios against the enemy, the Praetor you see in High Charity (Was that the level name? For clarification, the Praetors are the silver ones with the headdresses that whisper to eachother during the Council meeting in the first Cutscene.) must...

If the Elite uses his Energy Sword, would the Predator even initiate hostilities? I remember something about them hunting those with guns only, but I'm not a pred-verse expert. If the Elite gets first strike with the Energy Sword, the Predator is pretty much dead- that thing means less limbs and a l...

Motion trackers are limited to 15m and can't track objects moving at a crawl, but the Preditor might not know this. The Elite can jump like crazy, and so can the Predator. Given the Foreurnner's typical construction habits of very thin hallways with large rooms at junctions (and little if any direct...

Delurk: It's old hat, but by now you should know you can unlock a new MP level ("Foundation", a really cool "Wizard"-like level in Chicago) by beating the last level of the game (use Easy to make it quick and painless). If that doesn't work because of some coding errors Bungie had, create a new prof...

Official- Microsoft and Bungie hired 4ourty2wo (the makers of the AI Game "The Beast", if you're in the know.) to produce it.
It's below the novels and games in Canon, but still is, IIRC.

*delurk* I don't post here becaue I am unable to *intelligently* debate and rather value my skin, but I'd like to say that once you're done with all 5 hours of the Ch 1-11, there's another 30 mintues or so of the last chapter (12) at http://www.ilovebees.com/contactme.html It runs from top to bottom...

You give him a skateboard's chance? Mike's shredded too many people to be just a M1A2. It's more like a quardipelgic gerbil versus the Executor. If we're nice, the gerbil might have a paper helmet, too.

He does all of this and still has free time? The wonders never cease.

I hope Andrew is stupid enough to try to win.. it'd be interesting to watch someone who has no argument, not even a stupid one like Darkstar's, try to fight off Mike. In the "Looking at a car crash" sort of interesting way.

B5ers thinking B5 can destroy Star Wars? Maybe against Star Trek they'd have a fairer fight. B5 is a great show, but it's a low power show, unlike Star Wars, where everyone and his uncle has High Megaton to Low Gigaton range weaponry.
