I think someone on this forum described the current Metabaron as having a power level similar to a more focused Silver Age Superman, but being rather unfamiliar with Silver Age DC comics (despite probably being the board's resident expert on everything Metabaron-related). Hmm... how would Akira do a...

However, from what I have read about the Traveller universe I think that those make even the Metabarons Universe pale in comparison... does the Travellerverse not have starships the size of Oort clouds or something like that? This isn't the RPG Traveller , is it? I don't remember anything quiet lik...

Question: Are there unedited versions of Nietzsche's works available. If so, are they the once typically sold in book stores? When I finally get a hold of some Nietzsche I don't want a version corrupted by an anti-semitic bitch. BTW - I don't know what philosophy Nietzsche preached, just that he wa...

To Le Corbusier, a world of standardized building materials and assembly-line production required military-style industrial and social centralization. The inhabitants of his ideal Radiant City—"a machine for living in"—would reside in self-contained high-rises containing fitness, cultural...

What about a car just designed to comfortable accomodate someone 6'3" (that is roughly 191cm, I think) tall?

There would not be practical difficulties involved if desks, furniture and vehicles were designed with tall people in mind.

With such a small territory it really makes me wonder that the Tyranids have not conquered the Tau yet through sheer numerical superiority. Because they've not been trying. The organised soviet life of the Tau empire makes genestealer and Lictor infiltration of population centers near impossible. W...

Size of the Tau Empire in WH40K

I am currently having a dispute over how big the Tau Empire is. How many systems are under the control of the Tau? I understand that they are a mere drop in the ocean in the 40k galaxy, but I cannot currently find any numbers.

People hate Shinji because he has no redeeming characteristics whatsoever. Marvin is funny. I have also found out another reason: The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy never asks you to relate to Marvin, whereas you are supposed to relate to Shinji. Interesting fact: Hideaki Anno was severely clinic...

'The Batman' is simply WB's way of taking a shit upon the franchise and shoving it upon the latest spawning of snotty-nosed wailers who have no idea what Batman shhould be like... While it cannot really hold a candle to the 1990s Batman animated series, it has a pretty nifty Batmobile. [Shroom Man ...

Vladimir Harkonnen, is clearly set up as evil within the context of Dune, and is very nasty to people around him and stuff... and he is a pedophile and a rapist. He does not even have the excuse of noble motivations like some of the other candidates on the list. So I vote for the floating fat man. ...

I vote for The Baron Vladimir because: We never really get to know Palpatine's motivations, at least not in the movies, so I am reluctant to vote for him. 40K Chaos Primarch may be evil by our standards , but in the 40Kverse the distinction between good and evil is useless - 40K is not about the str...

Exactly whose decision was it to depict the Man-Bat/Kirk Langstrom as having albinism in the recent The Batman animated series? Even though I am no expert on DC comics, I do seem to get the impression that previous incarnations of the Man-Bat were not pigmentless. I was about to ask "why"...

I also wonder where the Asgard and the Replicators would be. Their FTL capabilities are very good IIRC, I think that the Beliskner (or was it the Bilskirnir?) could travel from one end of the galaxy to another in a second.
