I've actually got the issue in question. The whole thing is actually pretty chilling, as it's part of a bunch of people all over the world being driven to giving into their worse impulses.

So the first two episodes of Forces of Destiny are out. The series is basically a micro-series of three-minute episodes, and they're out on YouTube on Disney's channel.

The first two are set between scenes in The Force Awakens, taking place right after Rey picks up BB-8.

To be fair, they were still trying to take prisoners. So low-powered shots en masse(and aren't those from the anti-fighter batteries shown in "Secret Cargo"?) to strip the shield and not kill the occupants afterwards.
