Re: What to do about Obama?
You know, just as an off topic aside, in one rotten way It's nice that Obama has proved to be this much of a spineless fuckup because it means we can begin to have a convocation about alternatives to the two main parties without people imperialistically defending the idea of voting for either.

Re: What to do about Obama?
Uranium nailed it. The fact of the matter is, you can cry about the Republicans but when the sitting Democrat president caves in constantly to them, enacts policies they would, engage in acts of torture, support corporations like they would and many other things that people here despise the Republic...

I just was interested given that's the third time I've seen you do that if I remember correctly. I have other issues with it but I don't feel like going into them at the moment.

Re: Obama screws over EPA and enviromentalists (Ozone)
Hmmmn curious. Would you wager to say he'd be better than 2008 McCain? Let's exclude Palin for a moment. As a singular president, do you think McCain would be much worse. It'd be curious to see if the Tea Party would form the same way under a McCain presidency. I am aware of the hunting and killing ...

RR, is this going to be your response to every damnable thing Obama has done? Go "B-b-b-ut the Republicans would be far worse!!!!"? I am just wondering. This is concerning, though I would still expect a Republican to be worse.

Could you move this to the DX:HR thread please? I may actually play it and I want to talk about AP in here.
Anyway I was going to say, how long is this game? Like is there a lot of side missions to do or is it quite a short outing overall?

Re: Obama administration pressures DA to stop looking into b
Oh what a lark, this again. I still find it hilarious that people go "Well what if X gets in. Oh noooo!". It's a fear yes but the Republicans have gotten what they want on the whole for a decade. They've cowed into Republican interests for a decade now. There is no way you can blame people...

Uhh, I found, like Tranquilizer darts - loads of them. Anyone tried these out? I think I read that, while their effect is delayed, the duedz can't be revived by their bros (unlike the stun gun). I Know this is just Beta knoweldge but in that, if a guard got to the man who was tranqed, he could be r...

Re: Deus Ex: Human Revolution Impressions (spoilarz)
@Chardok Oh trust me I wasn't. In a way the biggest disappointment are what seem to be lapses in the story, the AI and the ending (For all of DX1's ones flaws, I kinda liked how it wasn't some sort of pure good vs pure evil affair. You had to actually use some of your brain for once). But yeah, I do...

Re: Deus Ex: Human Revolution Impressions (spoilarz)
I'm going to get this , sometime next week. Despite it being a horrifying idea to some, the game has potential to it. Not going to bother with the Augmented edition however, that'd be a horrible waste of money. Also hope they release some modding tools eventually so they some of the more mechanic ba...

If you are going to ban him, just ban him. There is no need for some show trial. It doesn't really serve any proper purpose.

Re: Deus Ex HR reviews up...
It's not like the game would be perfect. DX1 had some hilariously horrible stuff in it but it managed to have some positives. Just don't let hype over inflate you, that way lies disappoint in most games. Besides, its' not like some sort of sin to like a game that others don't. Not one is going to ca...

Re: The pillaging of Iraq
The sad fact of the matter is that a lot the colonialist behavior of the past has never really gone away. It's been redressed behind a veil of buzzwords and faux justifications. It becomes even more painful when the US waxes about the freedom and justice it claims to champion. As long as people buy ...

Well I got the 105mm gun for the T29, not as big as I was expecting damage wise but I am not complaining about the extra damage I can incur. With a 79% accuracy rate, I am not wasting too many shots and I hope to improve it further. Now its' learning where to actually these tanks tio make my shots c...
