Re: C & C Suggestion AND COMMENTARY Thread

Huh, odd. I must have misinterpreted and misremembered some elements of what he had written. That's a real shame, it was going very well. Thank you for the information.

Again, I apologize for the gaffe; it will not happen again. I have been away for several years, and will reread the rules.

Re: C & C Suggestion AND COMMENTARY Thread

Sso of course I forget to ask myquestion HERE where you said it should go. ><

Ahem. So. I remember that Stavro finished Starcrossed, but for some reason I cannot find the last chapters here. Did I miss something in the past few years? Or is there a database glitch or something like that?

Re: The StarCrossed Review Thread

Wow... haven't been here in a goodly while. I wonder who's still here that I remember? Anyway, I vaguely remember Starcrossed, Stravo's epic fanfic, finishing at some point, but the Cleaned topic for it ends at the battle of Andor. Does anyone know what happened and where it can be found, and/or wha...

Obligatory StarWarZ site reference: http://www.starwarz.com/starkiller/ The Jedi Bendu Script Site. Interesting stuff there. It was really only in the EU that the Sith were defined to be an opposint Force tradition to the Jedi. I don't think it's even been discussed in the official books or the movi...

There's a sly little comment by Kirk about all the links people have made between him and Spock (i.e. the K/S 'slash' stories) which basically says, "I neither confirm nor deny, but even if I did it's my business, friend *wink*.'

How odd, I'd thought ADF was dead. I'm glad to see he's not.

Coruscant Prayer

Well, why not something with an SW flavor? This was written by an antecedent of the Sith tradition in the SW game I'm running, some 5000 years after the founding of the Republic, right before he and his Brotherhood fled accross the galaxy. ===== CORUSCANT PRAYER Ku Radama Awoken in shadows The dawn-...

I don't peruse the mothersite all that much unless I'm looking for schematics, but the Starfleet Museum site is a joy to behold. I read it and all I can do is sigh and think that THIS is how Enterprise should have been. Oh, well. I'm glad he's continuing it in spite of the existence of Enterprise.

Depends on what you call 'real.' For gritty, hard-hitting scenes that evoke images of 'Midway' and 'The Sands of Iwo Jima' and 'Victory at Sea' and other early-color movies depicting WW2, then, oh me oh my yes, SVC would trounce B&B seven ways to sunday. If you want something dramatic and pulse-...

I was mostly wondering just what role these guys played in the Republic. :) I mean, okay... I can understand the Trade Federation. I can understand the Minding Guild. I can even understand the Banking Clans (just not their name.) But what in the world is the 'Techno Union?' Besides 'bizarre.'

It's possible that the Mining Guild (as well as the Banking Clans and the Techno Union (WhereTF did this things COME from?!) is eventually folded into the Corporate Sector Authority, depending upon the canonicity of the CSA, of course.

A friend of mine might be intrigued by this idea. She has a fairly low opinion of George Lucas as it is, but here goes. GL might have put that little scene to 'legitimize' Anakin's and Padme's relationship -- after all, it's unNarrowMindedFundamentalist to have a child out of wedlock! So Anakin and ...

The q-torps were fired from a launcher beneath the saucer portion. Re: Does anyone remembemer Star Blazers?

No, Space Battleship Yamato was not in the same universe as Space Pirate Capt. Harlock/Galaxy Express 999 (or to go by the title song, "Galaxy Express Three-Nine") though they were created by the same artist, Leiji Matsumoto. There's evidence of questionable canonicity that they're in the...
