Trump is the first president to not be impeached by the Republican party. At this point, each party has impeached an equal number of times.

Here's a thought, if going for an experience qualification. Choose one of the following: The longer of 4 years or a full term in a elected state executive office, vice president, or cabinet member; the longer of 10 years or 2 full terms in a national or state legislature, the longer of 3 full terms,...

I had been enjoying the daily updates. Felt like it trailed off at the end, kind of expecting something more than that last sentence to wrap things up, though it definitely works as a hook for the next part.

I'll get the shot, but I don't want to be part of the first or second mass vaccinations. I can isolate sufficiently that I'd rather not be part of the mass production test batch.

As this is for a 12 year old, take a look at the assorted parental control offerings by each of the big 3, and what online features you'd like to restrict vs what you can restrict.

Oh, I forgot to mention the new microcode security faults of Intel (MDS). Kinda like Meltdown v2. AMD is hardly affected at all. The security patches reduce performance on avg. 16% for Intel CPU's and 3% for AMD CPU's. If you want to be absolutely safe, it is recommended on Intel CPU's that you tur...

Re: Why are so many old MAC games only being re-released for Windows?
Because the Mac of today is not backwards compatible with the Mac of yesterday. 2005 is one of the hard cutoffs for compatibility, as Apple no longer includes the PPC compatibility shims. The 64 bit only switch, the dropping of Classic and Carbon, are all things that prevent older Mac software from ...

It will happen at both ends - point of ingress to a US ISP and the customer. Because why charge once for access, when you can charge twice?

I agree that your electoral collage is in serious need to of re-adjustment (honestly first thing I'd do is get rid of the "winner gets all" system and have all state votes divided according what was truly voted so if a state voted 51% for 1 side and 49% for the other the votes would be di...

The state I'm in allows PTO to expire without payout. I believe the rule is that PTO only has to be paid out if it is company policy to do so. I'm only allowed to carry 200 hours between fiscal years. So, if this applied to me, and I accrued PTO faster than I could use it, my employer wins because t...

Honestly that's pretty underwhelming for fibre. I mean, there has never been a fibre ethernet standard that slow, the very first one was 100BASE-FX (100 Mbit) from 1995. Any slower than that and there isn't really any advantage over copper. 10BASE-FL was a thing in the mid '90s too. My High School ...

Thinking about it more, this feels more like how ST:Generations should have gone, in terms of the transition from original to next gen cast. Han's end seems much better/more fitting than Kirk's death in Generations, or Chewie's death in Vector Prime.

Well the hose is flexible so once out the window angle it up and fix it in place so the hot air goes straight up away from people walking past. DO NOT extend the hose that comes with the AC, the fan will struggle to push the hot air out (these things are built to a budget) decreasing efficiency and...

I don't see how that's going to work. We're not talking about cans of beans and sausages and packages of band-aids you can tuck into a nook here or there, we're talking ICBM-size missiles. Minimum deposit and minimum daily balance are two different things. For the account I have, I only need $50 to open it, but if I drop below $1000 in a month, I get charged $15 for the privilege of having the account. This isn't a bottom tier account, the bottom tier (cheapest) account is either $3/m...
