Re: Something big
Oh wow, that hangar picture is pretty. Your Bellator is still my favorite of your creations, the Vigil - and Customs corvettes are closely tied seconds. The light for a hangar behind the Lancer-frigate looks a bit strange to me. Did some texture within it not render for the picture ? All the others ...

Re: World of Warships
You likely got credited some of the XPs your previous carriers had accumulated when they removed the odd-tier CVs.
Alaska is priced at 1 000 000 free XPs and 1 silver credit.
Edit:
HMS Exeter can be earned by completing a mission chain until the end of March or spending about 30€.

Re: Star Wars: Armada tabletop game
I used this one (and a few more experienced friends) to build my fleet.

I'm looking forward to the Executor in April or so, even if it's going to be more of a decorative model on the shelf than being played.

Re: World of Warships
You can still control the carrier, but with a lot less freedom of movement than before. I personally would have been happier with WG removing playable CVs completely and just adding a chance for bot-controlled airstrikes to tier 6 matches and up. With just one or two examples of a specific class in ...

Richard Rhodes wrote several books about the development of nuclear weapons during the last 70 years, but the ones you listed already sound more advanced than his works.

Re: Pathfinder: Kingmaker by Owlcat Games
I think I bought my diamond dust from Jhod, he should be in your capital between the residence and the tavern. I noticed that skipping weeks (even when on 14 day missions with an advisor) leads to a lot of missions being awarded, so I got a lot of trouble. That caused morale to collapse (my populati...

Re: Pathfinder: Kingmaker by Owlcat Games
I'm told the difficulty scaling is mind numbingly dumb and the game engages in antics that would get any actual tabletop GM thrown out of their own friends house. I've had to reload several times after a combat went not my way, but that's normal for me in PC RPG games. A few encounters were too dif...

Re: Pathfinder: Kingmaker by Owlcat Games
Got through he first part (with lots of respawning) and liked it. It's a game that will eat up a lot of my spare time. Never having played the Adventure Path the game is based on I can't comment on how faithful they followed it, but if they did I'm in for some good hours of gaming. Having reached th...

Pathfinder: Kingmaker by Owlcat Games
Anyone else playing it ?
Got it yesterday, started playing today. Reminds me very much of Baldurs Gate 2, in a good way.
Like the graphics and character interaction, but have to get used again to the combat system and character mangement.

Re: THE OotS Thread, Part V
It might also help that whatever the Dark One cocreates contains a colour that is not part of the Snarl. The Snarl might not be able to affect it as strongly (destructively) as created out of the other colours, going by the hot glaive through ochre jelly analogy. A new colour might be able to block ...
