Re: What's up with the rioting in Stockholm?

Something like that. With a touch of police brutality of course. "Police brutality"? You mean the nonsense Megafonen and the likes are spreading? The police have been very restrained, have mostly protected the rescue services and used non-intervention tactics. I've yet to see any evidence...

You can read the actual ruling here, if you know Swedish: https://lagen.nu/dom/nja/2007s337 Have you read what the ruling is about? It is not a ruling about questioning a suspe...

Re: Blackwater Founder Makes Secret Army in UAE

Er, does this include foxholes and other small-scale entrenchments? I received a classroom lesson on how to dig a foxhole, but not on Great War-style trenches. I wasn't actually asked to dig a foxhole- the drill sergeants understandably didn't want to spend hours supervising us as we dug a hole. Wh...

Contrary to the lies and bullshit posted (and retracted) by The Weekly Standard , they released the entire video on their site when they broke the story. So take your concern-trolling about WikiLeaks' credibility, print it out on paper and shove it all the way up your ass you lying cocksucker. Feel...

Re: The Norks are Suspected of Sinking South Korean Shipping.

Loads of times, when a magazine goes you usually end up with two half ships. Although it has become very rare after WWII but before that there were probably over a dozen major accidental magazine explosions. Considering that both the 76 mm and the 40 mm guns fire modern fixed ammunition, I have har...

Re: Polish Army Museum

Did they ever deploy it in combat? Kubus saw plenty of action in the Warsaw Uprising, which means it was actually developed and deployed operationally. It also has much better armor coverage, IMHO :) The German forces already had surrendered when it was ready on 5 May 1945, but was used successfull...

xXx2, so goddamn stupid I wanted to walk out on it wish would been a first for me. If it wasn't for the multi-turret tank with LCD-displays (now that is real progress!) the movie wouldn't even register on the "so bad it's good"-scale.

Re: The Half-Full, Half-Empty Eurofighter Glass, Too

Hilarious, so in an attempt to save money they axed every feature that gave it a leg up on the legions of far cheaper American and Russian fighters thus making the whole program essentially pointless and an enormous waste of money. They will probably add at least some of that stuff in future upgrad...

There is cockroaches here in Sweden, so I guess you have to go forther north ;)
Of course, the only time you really hear about them is when people bring them with them from abroad by mistake in suitcase and such and that is not that often.
Otherwise it is pretty much 'roach free here.

In 6th grade (I think) they taught us about how "it" works, contraception, STDs, the biology behind it, and stuff like that. Pretty sure we even had a test on it. Abstinence was never mentioned, as I recall, but they never taught us anything about having actual relationships either. Which...
