You'll love the T20 then - low, fast, and with a gun that hurts. For me the T20 is everything the E8 is, just better (and half the profile).Block wrote:I love the ShermanE8. Best tank so far.

Re: Are internet explorer users dumb?
How do you define "a pain"? Is it as painful as trying to get any real work done on that useless piece of trash Firefox before version 3.5? Thank God that shit is dead. A pain as in code needed for a ten-year old browser. IE6 is from before FF 1 - and it sure has aged better than Netscape...

He said that the company first thought of doing this study when they were trying to add some new features to the website and found IE versions 6.0 and 7.0 extremely difficult to work with. I can tell you at least one group of people who aren't very smart: ApitQuant's web developers. (or perhaps the...

Never tandem, but I did a couple of jumps ten years ago, but ran out of spare time a few jumps before I got my cert.
Never had a better adrenaline rush, still want to get that cert if I ever live close-ish to a club again.

LAN:ing with friends was the only reason I played D1&2. Explain how 'LANing with friends' is impossible under this system? PS, consoles have had no problems having 'play with my friends' working just fine 100% ok happy days without a big option on the menu that says 'LAN'. I thought PC gamers w...

Re: World of Tanks
That TDs win a lot and HTs not may very well be due to the pack mentality - a team with more TD:s than the opposition tend to play more carefully, and groups of HTs often wander of together in one aggressive push that has too little support or is just too slow - every victory I have ever 'stolen' wa...

Just a note since Sweden and Norway were mentioned multiple times - Norway is not and never have been a member of EU or EMU. Norway are also in great shape thanks to the oil, and due to having no debts and huge savings. Sweden is in good shape (imnsho) mainly due to fiscal responsibility and balance...

and I'm not sure about the M7, but fast tanks have a lot more options, like scouting and the like. The M7 with the 6pdr is awesome; run it as a (too big) scout and skirmisher when low in the roster, own everything and never stop when on top. That gun is insane when not in matches were the penetrati...

Just got the 107 for the KV, since I decided to keep it until the KV patch - and sweet mother of the unicorn, it's a reaper. As top tank, one-shot everything. As bottom tank, decent support sniper and scout killer.

For money, I'm turning my M57 elite for now, while saving gold for Premium. Also considering turning the Luchs gold instead of going for Leo... still undecided. I haven't played the American tanks yet but from fighting them, they don't seem to be very impressive. They have good DPS on paper but thei...

So - very - short on money. But having fun, nonetheless.
I was pleasantly surprised when I got a M2 with howitzer - it cleans out rushing lights _real_ fast, and reliably damages mediums on insane ranges.

Re: Terry Goodkind Sucks (and steals from Robert Jordan)
The first book was boring for me, the next four or five were good, and after that it was a matter of wanting to finish what I started than actually enjoying the books. Wizard's First Rule was okay, but the second and third Goodkind books were awful, and I never progressed beyond that. This is exact...

Prolog, Pascal, Basic - used in school or uni, not since C - Use sparingly in Python projects C++ - use at work. it's ok. PHP - I'm told you don't have to write ugly code in PHP - never been able to do that Java (SE, EE, ME) - use at work and hate with a burning passion. Java does nothing right. (Th...

Re: That time of the year again - Army seeks improved carbin
One thing that struck me as odd in the OP was the specification of a "500-meter" weapon. Is that desirable? I can understand those ranges for marksmen and machine guns, but why would a standard-issue assault rifle/carbine need an effective range of 500 meters? You'll need (or at least I ne...
