It might have helped if Ripley had told them all "Oh, by the way, these things come through ducts, grates, walls, so keep a good al-round look. I don't recall anywhere in the movie where she warns them of their non-standard methods of movement-- she lets them re-invent the wheel and find out for th...

According to the Forge world Warhound Titan the Warhounds only have two (Or is it three) Crew... 5, if you include the 2 sevritors - Warhound Ahh i'm glad you pointed that out, i'd only ever seen the open cockpit view, I had never seen the pic with the servitors in it, so the full crew comes to fiv...

Oops. I misinterpreted it, I thought he meant Ripley would never have made it back to the Sulaco without Bishop to call and pilot the dropship...

But he meant the queen would never have gotten to the Sulaco if Ripley hadn't pissed her off. My mistake.

I gather you mean Bishop,
Ripley was required to kill the queen, but she wouldn't have gotten aboard the Sulaco if Ripley wasn't there in the first place.

OMFG Do you have any concept of people whatsoever, so they lose more than half there ammo. And that has to be a plot thing? SOLDIERS LOSE AMMO IN SNAFU Situations

If I could I would slap your seven ways stupid, sadly someone already has.

These were not supposed to be Elite troopers, they were little more than a Recon team to be honest, they had half of their arsenal denied them. An incompetant CO like most military units outside of special forces. Their situation was not unlike Vietnam. They were fighting an enemy who used unconvent...

Very hard, after all Necrons aren't living psionic beings, they have no presence to hunt, plus considering this is before the Deceiver turned Nightbringer on the other C'tan there are a shitload of C'tan to fight and they are not going to all be in one place, the C'tan would find the Lensman very ta...

WE would probably anal rape them in revenge for all the Probing done!! Just kidding!

George Bush would probably say they are the product of some Arab nations (Syria perhaps) biological engineering and science programs and invade it, and when none are discovered they will pretend to whistle.

Nononoonono, the Old ones fought back the Necrons to the brink of extinction, then the Necrons discovered the C'tan and brought them into the fight and the Necrons beat back the Old ones to the point of extinction, then the Old ones created all the psionic sensitive races, they in turn created Chaos...

Orks: If the orks thought the world was worth fighting then I think this Planetmind would have some difficulties stopping them. (As in a Waaagh, not just your average Ork whose Terror Kroozer got lost...)

Lemme fix your logic Kadaeux. Chaos: Easy to control your average cultist or space marine, a little trouble with Demon Princes and a couple of nightmares. Quite hard if you're trying Abaddon. Imperium: God. Emperor Save Us! It'd mind rape all but the most resilient of them or Librarians and similar...

And what rationale brought you to that conclusion eh? My understanding is quite high for someone who has yet to have the pleasure of reading the novels, unless you are referring to my Tau comment, at which all I actually know about them is that they serve the greater good. And are relatively non-exi...

If it is Chaos in orbit then I think that the "Planetmind" would be very very disturbed, and incapable of controlling Chaos. after all essentially Chaos are under mind control of Chaos gods, whom far more have been killed to create. If it is the Imperium then still yes, they have spent thousands of ...

Unless Chaos gets there first of course.
Chaos can get thier first, but they just get thier ass kicked first.
Unless of course Abaddon uses the Blackstone fortresses on it, or the Planetkiller.

All this psionic presence sounds more like a massive magnet for the ruinous powers, the planet itself would probably be mistaken for a Daemon world and the people as irredeemable heretics. Exterminatus for sure, no doubt... Unless Chaos gets there first of course.

Warhammer 40k Canon

Ok I need to know, which is more canon with Warhammer 40k. The writers or imagery, models... I ask because of the Boltgun, the team says it's caseless but all Bolter models have ejection slots or even shell casings on the base while the imagery always depicts them spewing out shell casings. Do the w...
