Re: Boeing Dreamliners are grounded.
I'd imagine Airbus is paying close attention to whats going on, especially as the A350 supposedly uses similar lithium ion batteries. Every pain Boeing suffers is one less they have to.Dartzap wrote: I would imagine Airbus are laughing all the way to the bank (until they get grounded too)

Re: W.I.P. Android Soldier
Pretty cool. How big a android do you imagine him being? About the same size as a typical human? Yeah, I imagine that the android would be about 6 ' or 1.8288 m tall and about as a large as a fit adult male person. Nice work. Very technical; I like how precise your linework is. Thanks! It's been a ...

Re: W.I.P. Android Soldier
I wanted to emulate the Battle Android Trooper from G.I. Joe, I've always loved the original design. My thinking behind this was also to have an adult male sized android/cyborg capable of utilizing a wide range of human equipment in concert with human soldiers. The equipment on the android is basica...

W.I.P. Android Soldier
Here's a w.i.p. of a potential android soldier. I was inspired heavily by the Battle Android Trooper from G.I. Joe.

Very cool, I love seeing kitbashing and full on model making like this. IMHO there is a unique quality to seeing something "real" as opposed to being on paper. Great work!

BF: 2142 mech sketch.
I've been thinking of battlefield: 2142 lately and I really like the visuals from that game. That being said, I drew a mecha inspired by some of the mechs and weapons from that game, here it is:

Re: Hammers' Slammers Vs. Battle: L.A.
As good if not better. The aliens were still vulnerable to the Marines' weapons, despite the endurance factor; futuristic weapons should be even more so. This assumes of course that the Slammers follow roughly the same script as the Marines (i.e. go to police station, try to leave police station, e...

Hammers' Slammers Vs. Battle: L.A.
Situation: The aliens (Aquoids?) from Battle: L.A. are invading Earth. The U.S. government starts handing out defense contracts like candy and by act of Me, Hammer's Slammers pick one up. Ignoring time/space continuum issues, the Slammers replace Marines from the movie (just the marines the film foc...

I like this dude's style. Only thing I can point my finger at is that his legs seem a bit thick. Trim down the thunder-thighs and you're in business, my man... Yeah, they look huge...I was trying to convey the idea that there was some sophisticated actuation system between the wearer and the armor,...

My new Zaku model.
I got this kit a few weeks ago from Galaxy hobby's secret Santa sale. This is a Zaku II F2 model by Bandai of snap together construction with some elements cemented on and is all plastic. I had a blast putting it together and am looking forward to painting it soon. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/...

Drama is good! I like the detail, it looks very clean for (I believe?) pencil. Thanks Phantasee. I used pencil so I fix my mistakes and because I don't have any of th...
