Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide. Part Twenty Five Up

The main problem with using radar to shoot down aircrafts would be tracking. Uriel was more or less stationary when he was burned by the radar, and even his highest speeds are not that impressive - around 180 mph (if he is similar to the messenger demons at the start of Armageddon). An aircraft wil...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide. Part Twenty Four Up

Stuart derived those spot sizes from non-AEGIS radar systems (which, I presume, have nonclassified capabilities). Perhaps he could provide a reference that describes the parameters of such a system. I'd love to see such a reference myself. It sounds completely preposterous to have a beamwidth small...

It's completely retarded. Just think about the vast quantity of calories required to feed a slave for decades. Livestock has a much better return on investment.

Knowing the way sonar technology has evolved since the 1960s; basically using computer signals processing to eliminate frequency spread, sidebands and harmonics to concentrate the available power into the narrowest, cleanest pulse possible. This is incorrect. Compressing a pulse in time increases t...

Judging by some youtube videos, it's so hardcore that cold starting a Mi-24 and taking off takes an astonishing 30 seconds. The Ka-52 (and no doubt every other aircraft) is a fucking joke, too.

Using Cyrillic in place of Latin is bad enough, but but this is the first time I've seen anybody reach the low of using a backwards character.

The ships would have to have a device that can quickly locate the end of the fiber-optic cable, and drag it up to the surface. The closer the ships stay to shore, the easier the job is. It is rumored that NASA spent hundreds of millions of dollars developing such a device. Apparently, they called it...

This is a bizarre and not very effective proof. All it proves is that one specific company offers more different journals, and given that Springer apparently has a full program specializing in Russian journals, this may be one of their trademarks. It says absolutely nothing about the status of the ...

I was in the closed beta since several months ago. The game was so terrible that I haven't played in two months. The only activity that was remotely enjoyable was hacking the game. Those morons designed it so poorly that I was flying and teleporting in just a couple of days after beginning the effort.

In a hundred years, they'll probably look upon Reaganism the same way they look at Leninism today, as a failed experiment that dominated a nation for generations. I don't think that this is a fair comparison. The consequences of Leninism in the Soviet Union included a huge increase in the standard ...

It's easier with a small helicopter, but the trick for that mission was to fly in low and kill the SAMs before they even had a chance to launch.

Edit: Finally completed that mission. The key, apparently, is to take the bridge farthest away that is also guarded by an Abrams. It's not actually guarded, lol.
