Re: Imperial Battle Droid Procurement (Legends Scenario)
What about the Dark Trooper 1 and 2's from Legends? http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_trooper, the Phase 3's could even be used as Exo suits. With proper programmin you could even easily disguise some of them as normal troopers.

Re: Wouldn't Lando make a good chancellor?
I could see Lando showing up. I liked Lando. Its sad that all of his character growth from the novels is basically gone now. I could see him showing up as a semi replacement scoundrel mentor in place of Han. That said he may make a cameo if they have a funeral for Han at some point though i find it ...

Re: Force Awakens Complaining.
I'm sure someone will be along shortly to address each point. On the other hand, welcome to what everyone else realized ages ago; the movie is a lowest-common-denominator product in terms of plot and worldbuilding, aimed at appeasing the fans and the prequel haters by re-doing almost everything abo...

Re: Luke Skywalker may be gay?
It would be entirely unnecessary. We already have a gay character in Poe Dameron. While they may not have said it flat out (i have only seen the movie) He looks at Finn the way Finn looks at Rey, or the way a straight man looks at a woman who has caught his interest. You know the hey he/she is kind ...

The ships and weapons. FFS, WHY. The new X-wings, at first i was leery, but in the comics and novels those are basically XJ type X-wings, so i let them slide. But the TIE fighters? WTF was going on with those, who though making an unshielded fighter a two seater? Are First Order pilots so bad they ...

Those are both pretty kick ass, and im with you, mecha may not be a brilliant idea in the long run, but who would say no to piloting one?
Those look way more stable than the AT-AT or AT-ST ever looked.

Re: Would it even be worth it to try policing superheroes?
Lets be honest, the best out come they could hope for is a sense of accountability for super powered people. Maybe forming a special division of powered folk, one with funding and oversight. But lets be real honest, for the most part if someone with powerful enough powers objects, there really isn't...

Re: Ready Player One the movie
Yeah, in the game universe, things worked as much on a basis of Rule of Cool as anything else. A Firefly gets more cachet than a X-wing because while in terms of actual power the X-wing might be more impressive, the Firefly was basically one of the stars of its own show. The X-wing? Just one of a w...

Re: Doctor Who news-Capaldi asked to stay post-Moffat.
I always thought the claim that it was about Clara and not the Doctor was overplayed. Companions, at least in the new series, have always gotten lots of screen time and their own plots. The problem with Clara was not focus or amount of screen time. It was that she was often badly and self-indulgent...

The "stacks" setup was rather novel. One of the biggest draws for me to the book, was all the pop culture stuff. I mean if you fudge alot of it, you get the basic story going along, which is great. But i think it was cool that there was a little of everything for people to relate to, once ...

And to be fair, most of the C-Store ships have been pretty useless over the years. So yeah my comment was pretty useless, but clearly you missed the attempt at humor i was making. Depends on which ship you get. For a basic player who doesn't really go all out on equipment, a C-store ship will have ...

If your adaptation diverges significantly enough from the source material than it really should not have the right to call it self an adaptation. If Japan licensed a version of Spiderman that happens in Tokyo and with an all Japanese cast ...

It looks underwhelming to say the least. They could have spent a hair more budget in areas like costumes and Ecto 1. The jumpsuits looked ...off, could be those random orange lines and lack of descriptive patches. Maybe just nostalgia there, but the old suits seemed more interesting, more team like,...
