Alita Battle Angel Movie previews
FINALLY, after a decade of waiting, anime fans are finally getting the live-action Battle Angel Alita Movie we have been so eagerly waiting for! They're running the previews for it with The Last Jedi movie, and I like what I'm seeing. It appears it's going to be fairly faithful to the manga, with th...

Star TreK: Next Gen (Again)
Thanks to the Moore Public Library in Moore, Oklahoma, I am able to watch Star Trek: Next Generation again. So far, I am up to the 4th season. I'm trying to watch every episode of every season, but a some DVD's have been defective or had problems playing, so I've missed a few episodes here & the...

Star Gate bumbs into Star Wars
This may be a topic that has already been discussed, but I don't feel like wading through hundred of pages on the Star Wars section to find it! I just finished watching the original Star Gate movie this evening and had a few ideas to comment on. #1. The Star Gate crew beams/teleports/travels to a de...

Re: least Favorite B5 episode
"TKO" was not SPECTACULAR story writing, but I liked it because it was kind of a break from the on-going storyline, and you really don't see a lot of sports storylines in Sci-fi/fantasy. I did like the way the fight ended in a draw, with neither side clearly the winner, with BOTH OF THEM b...

Re: Klingon Houses & Romeo and Juliet
I think there's a reason the Klingons loved Romeo and Juliet: because they could identify with it so easily! In Romeo and Juliet, you have two great "houses" or "clans" fighting each other, the Montaques and the Capulets. The Klingons divide themselves into clans and houses and m...

Re: Least Favorite B5 episode
Okay, a change in direction. What is your LEAST FAVORITE/LIKED episode of the series? Without a doubt, for me it had to be "Gray 17 is Missing". I had no problem with the basic idea that there was a "phantom" deck that had gone missing because of rushed construction and missing b...

Favorite B5 season
My favorite B5 season is #3, which is leading up to the Shadow War and then the war with Earth. My favorite season three episode is "Severed Dreams", because it represents humanity divided in a civil war, and because it clearly shows the resulting deaths and consequences of war and battle....

Re: Versus Series: Ship Combat in Star Wars
"Any plan of battle is a good one, until the battle starts". Thus is is possible that any ship can defeat another at any time depending upon how gutsy/brave/motivated/well-trained/poorly-trained/etc. the crew is. History has born this out time and time again. So it's a fun exercise to play...

Re: Why the United states already feared war with Japan in the 1930s
Did you know that Japan was an ALLY of ours in World War 1? In the first world war, they were in the allied camp and had declared war on Germany, though of course they never did any fighting: it was more of a "political" statement, like "we want to announce to the world that we've arr...

Re: Voltron: The Movie?
I know this has been probably been floating around (for years?), but can somebody update/inform and/or deny the existence of a live-action Voltron/GoLion Movie? Given the success of the live-action Transformers Movies, I think now would be a good time to do one.

Re: Independence day resurgence - non spoiler
I'm back from it and I thought IT ROCKED! I think it has the potential to be the top-grossing movie of the year, if not one of the top-grossing movies of all time. It is a pure escapist, popcorn fantasty movie, so don't expect shakespear, but you should have a good time with it. Just a note.....look...

Uh, ever heard that song from Toby Keith that goes, "I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know i'm free. And i'll gladly stand up, and defend her still today, 'cause there ain't no doubt I love this land. GOD BLESS THE USA!"

What does "RAR" mean? Ah, I think we've got bigger problems to worry about than a few anitque toy museum pieces suddenely showing up off the coast of Japan! We've now got proof of ALIENS! ALIENS! WE'RE NOT ALONE IN THE UNIVERSE! AND THEY'RE TECHNOLOGICALLY SUPIOR TO US! "WHAT ARE WE G...

Well, looks like i'm NOT going to get to find out after all. I woke up this morning to discover that i've got no water in my house & my waterwell doesn't seem to be working, so I can probably kiss a few hundred $$$ goodbye! And checking the fanexpodallas guest' schedule, he's not doing any Q &am...

Well, it looks like I might actually get the chance to ask him in person! This afternoon (Sunday 5/22/16) my friend Troy called me from Texas & informed that STAN LEE is to be a Guest of Honor at the FanExpoDallas convention in Dallas, Texas in 2 weeks! I was not planning on going to any convent...

Thor "Bifrost Vs Star Trek "Transporter"
In one world it's called "Magic", in the other, "Technology". But wouldn't the Transporter in Star Trek be more or less the same thing as the Bifrost from the Thor movie & Norse mythology? The only difference between the two would be one of power and distance - how far you ca...

Re: Nazi Germany vs The Bugs (RAR!)
How do the "aliens" view us? Are we the "insects" to them? Was this just some random portal that they opened and they just expected to walk in and take over the place, because (in THEIR arrogance) they are the TRUE "Master Race"!?? I think your race of bugs sounds more ...

Question. Wouldn't Thor's hammer be able to penetrate the ID4 Mothership's shields? Wouldn't the MIGHTY THOR, God of Thunder, come off as being WEAK if he couldn't bring down a thing like that?
