Man, if anyone wasn't sure this board has a problem with women, I bet this thread would have a solid chance of convincing them. Just look at how invested people are in making rape jokes and that we've even got a mod just throwing around stereotypes to explain why the board drives women away.

We could also throw in the way they treat their employees , though they may or may not have eased up a bit thanks to the bad PR. Anyway, the usually reliable TotalBiscuit did a video on the game , and apparently it's fun to play but not earth-shaking in terms of quality. Yeah, and that's a major pr...

I will not be buying the game because EA What is wrong with EA ? There's nothing actually exceptional about them compared to other large publishers, other than when Valve got pissy at them and temporarily removed some of their games from Steam. Now they've got their own digital distribution service...

I'm opposed to it not just because the increased pollution that will result from the exploitation of the tar sands (which will kill more people around the world than the trains ever could), but because of the borderline criminal behavior of TransCanada. Won't sell your property? Too bad, they're fri...

I think it's premature to count Christie out. We were all pretty sure that Mark Sanford was done after he was caught using taxpayer funds to visit his mistress in South America, but they voted him into Congress anyway.

Re: EA announces SimCity will get an offline mode, FINALLY!!
ME1 was published by Microsoft, not EA. And yeah, 2 and 3 are the best games Bioware has made because they're actual games and are fun to play. The first one is largely a clunky pile of hot garbage that is an absolute slog. And that's still better than their earlier games of "clumsily modeled D...

Re: EA announces SimCity will get an offline mode, FINALLY!!
This is EA we're talking about. There is never, ever any reason for saying anything good about them. Sure there is. They published Mass Effect 2 and 3 (and made 1 available to PS3 folks), the best games Bioware ever made, along with the Rock Band series, which was easily the high water mark of plas...

I think it's an issue with whether Blacks will even turn out to vote in the 2016 election in numbers approaching the 2008 and 2012 elections, not whether they will vote Democrat or Republican. Pretty much exactly my position. . . . There are some thought though that many whites voted for Romney bec...

The last thing I want is a subplot of the hero being as a 'get togther' for a heroic divorced father and his ex who are united by this tragedy (because zilla squashed the beta male ex's boyfriend' Is it too much to ask for a disaster/monster movie not to feature a soapbox subplot? You realize this ...

As long as the atheist community holds up people like Richard Dorkins or The Amazing Atheist up as influential and important figures without calling out their horrid reactionary beliefs we will continue to be associated with them.

Going by your incredibly simplistic and childish logic, you should use black because it has the same basic definition, doesn't carry so many negative connotations, and is fewer syllables. Of course, that wouldn't give you an excuse to tell people they aren't allowed to be offended by you being offen...

They also give you a free downloadable copy of any first party games. If you absolutely have to get one now, I'd recommend the Xbox over the PS4, if only for Kinect. As they are right now, you would really be better off waiting until they're both actually finished. It's fairly obvious they were both...

This thread is pretty great because we can, all in one place, see people complain these games have no innovation while ALSO complaining that the innovation in those games is dumb and unnecessary. Bonus for "that game sucks no I never played it."

Have you tried checking the health care exchange? If you're not able to get in through the website you can call the helpline and they'll be able to help you out and see what kind of subsidies you'd be able to get through there. The insurance plans offered outside of the exchanges aren't eligible for...

KSP could easily be done on a tablet. DF could as well, but it would require an actual user interface. They're also not exactly pretty games so you're sending a bit of a mixed message. KSP maybe , if it was a pretty expensive tablet, but DF? Really? I play it sometimes on an old general purpose lap...
