Re: Fight Scene Autopsy: The Last Jedi Throne Room
Why do you say that Rogue 9? I find Shad quite in his area of expertise and his analysis of the TLJ throne room scene was quite good.

Re: (SD.net Database) Star Wars From A Certain Point Of View
Yes it’s canon and the last Chapter is about the Whills and is crazy meta. Just wanted to throw that out there. It's a story collection from a whole bunch of authors, right? Is it even canon or is it basically glorified fanfiction?

(SD.net Database) Star Wars From A Certain Point Of View
So I finished From a certain point of view and it was great. That’s not to say all the stories were good but I think that’s is a strengths. If you don’t like the one your reading the next one might be better. So this quote is from the story ‘The Trigger’ and is in regards to the vs debate. Aphra rea...

Re: Versus Series: Ship Combat in Star Wars (Revived)
Well the info we have of the Resurgent's are that they have Kyber crystal enhanced Turbolasers which means they must be pretty powerful.Aren't Resurgents supposed to be ridiculously up-gunned compared to their Imperial counterparts?

Re: New Vehicles TLJ Official Info *Spoilers*
I have no dog in the versus fights, but I've speculated before that Star Wars lasers are less powerful within a planetary atmosphere than they are in space. With regards to your post on the thread you linked to. Its pretty clear from the episode that Thrawn had his weapons on lower power considerin...

Its been pretty well established that Snoke will be regular height based on his minifigure from the leaked The Last Jedi Lego set pictures.

Re: The Transporter Bomb: Did the writers never think of this?
Don't forget all the ECM that the imperials would be putting out weather or not the shields are up or down. Which I assume would require far less power than shields.

Since you mentioned it hears Generation Tech's Enterprise vs Star destroyer video.
As expected a lot of Trekkie argument tropes.

I trust wong about as far as I can throw the internet. most of his work is based on non canon elements that weren't canon even when the site was new, or unsubstantiated opinion. or, if we really wanna get serious about his reliability and credibility, flat out lies, such as the ones on his turbolas...

Re: Death Squadron in the Milky Way(RAR)
Can Trek ships scan while in warp? Does warp automatically route around obstacles? The reason hyperspace scouting takes so long in SW is that they can't scan while in hyperspace. They have to repeatedly jump and decant, stopping to scan each time. But if a Trek ship can scan while moving at warp sp...

Re: Spacedocks take on the versus debate
in st tng "conundrum" we see a squadron of sentry drones attack the enterprise and were destroyed in a couple of seconds with multiple phaser banks used and no misses. I suspect something similar would happen with sw fighters. we have never seen extraordinary speeds faster than 100kps max...

I know it will probably a mistake to read it, but part of me wants to, if for nothing else the ghastly level of horror. Then again, PeeKARD stood there sipping earl grey as an entire civilization was wiped out in the name of 'gods will' aka the PD as interpreted by morons. Jesus. Kirk would have ki...

Re: The Sins of the Father (Star Trek)
Oh, I know. I also forced myself through the bullshit stupidity that is the Destiny triology. Where Starfleet fucks up so hard in it duties that it gets over 100 billion of the people it's supposedly defending killed by the borg in the name of moral high ground and idealism. What was wrong with the...

Re: Death Squadron in the Milky Way(RAR)
Just want to chime in hear. I personally like to think in my own little head canon that Star Trek and Star Wars exist in the same universe. As for there being different physics we see people stars planets in both Star Wars and Star Trek and those things wouldn't exist if the laws of physics were onl...
