The Guns of August is a fairly classic WWI book, but is somewhat limited in scope and research. I also found Mosiers The Great War Myth to be worth the read, but be warned it's conclusions are controvertial. I found a several of these and bought them / bookmarked the online versions...looks to be what I wanted and should keep me busy for a few weeks at least. Thanks for the assistance :D
