Re: Titanic tourist submersible goes missing

This has been a trsin wreck from start to finish. You can't just improvise a pressure hull! This is about as bad as a british sub that's crush depth was not as deep as it was long. It could have the stern still on the surface and still implode.

Re: Titanic tourist submersible goes missing

This is why I've always felt that people need to just leave the Titanic in peace.

If you want to go see shipwrecks there is Iron Bottom Sound.

What is it with that specific game and people doing that? It makes no sense that they have to show they know more then everyone else and need to cheat beat over some silly game mechanics.

I guess my closest was going into anaphylactic shock from second hand smoke. Not fun, and I had the taste of blood in my throat for a week.

Re: US conspiracy theorist Alex Jones ordered to pay $965 million for Sandy Hook lies

Well in a class action lawsuit for defamation, failing to appear for a disposition is considered and admission of guilt. Trying to weasel out of it in a clear effort to waste everyone's time and increase the costs for the opposition so they are forced to withdraw because they ran out of money. He wa...

Re: US conspiracy theorist Alex Jones ordered to pay $965 million for Sandy Hook lies

From everything I've seen/read from this it seems Alex Jones made the classic mistake of not assuming his opponents were as smart as he was, so he tried to pull things like the doctor's note without even pretending to honor it thinking the mere presence of said note would be enough to make him immu...

Re: NASA Asteroid Deflection Test Imminent!

Sadly the conspiracy nuts are going ballistic.

I say to heck with them. NASA doesn't care about them and we can see that doing what they are suppose to do is all we want NASA to do anyway. Seeing it work as advertised is great and all we need.

I'm waiting on the SLS launch now.

Re: US conspiracy theorist Alex Jones ordered to pay $965 million for Sandy Hook lies

Yes he tried to pull the doctor's note thing claiming health issues meant he can't show up for a disposition. Then trots off to his studio and goes live while he was suppose to be appearing in court, live at his studio, not house, meaning his doctor's note wasn't worth the paper it was written on. D...

Let's not forget he's also played Bob Cratchet.

Re: Different commanders at Antietam

I was going to say the same thing but I didn't want to play a part in dredging up a dead thread. McClellan was useless as a field commander. Sure he was great at training and getting the men the 'beans and bullets' that they needed but was incapable of handling risk. Having an well equipted army is ...

It could be that while you spent at least the first 3 tours in Harkov's fleet and only one under Zaarin. Also he tried to take over the Empire rather than defect so might have been able to play that angle on much under his command keeping his plans hidden better before he moved them ahead.

Yes there was times during the mission the Micheal Collins was completely alone. You have to imagine how that would feel.

Is it bad if I point out I'm much better at this game then you?

I love this game and must admit that it did take several playthroughs of X-Wing before I managed to finish the game without dying one.

On a minor note, my the wingmen are so useless...can I leave them behind.

Re: Nasa successfully flies small helicopter on Mars

Sadly the space deniers are all having a conniption fit over this. The entire idea of sending a drone to Mars to increase the area that can be explored it genius. You have to love that someone thought of this and at the same time figured out how it would work and then programed flight software to fl...
