Re: NFL 2013
...aaaaaaand Mike Pettine is the new HC of the Cleveland Browns.
Can't catch a break this week.

Re: NFL 2013
The weather forecast for February 2nd in NYC is 47 and sunny. A little cool for it to be perfect football weather, but not by much. Richard Sherman can talk as much as he wants, I'm pretty fucking sick of the No Fun League's faux humility. Also because like pretty much every elite CB in the NFL, Ric...

Mike Pettine is interviewing for the Browns job.
...are you fucking serious. Discontinuity in our most promising unit. Fucking marvelous.
At least it's another job for Doug to lob at one of his old drinking buddies.

Re: NFL 2013
Thad Lewis to start vs. Miami. EJ has reinjured a knee which swelled up in Tuesday's practice. Good for Thad, he's got a nice deep ball and plays with more heart than sense (for better or worse!). On the one hand, EJ's missed five games. On the other hand, he's missed five games due to knee injuries...

Re: NFL 2013
The team quit on Doug Marrone today. This means the Doug Marrone Era is over, for practical purposes.
It's time to Bomb for Bridgewater, ax Danny Crossman and EJ Manuel.

Re: NFL 2013
I'll let Catelyn Stark sum up my reaction to this week's San Diego choke-job: http://www.kino-teatr.ru/art/2980/pv_31658.jpg I was pretty upset on Sunday evening, as every result the Bills needed went their way again for the second week running. "SOB" has set in though, and it feels the s...
Re: NFL 2013
The NFL was offering Bell's hit as a highlight. All I see is his helmet rocketing through the EZ and both teams waving frantically for medical staff.
Re: NFL 2013
Come on, Baltimore. Keep my playoff opium dream going!
Re: NFL 2013
On the one hand, it's the Falcons. On the other hand, it's a Toronto 'home' game. If there's a single prediction that I'll make, it's that the D-Line should be living in Matt Ryan's backfield.
Re: NFL 2013
470 Yards of Offense 250 Rushing Yards (40 more yards than the Chief's offense gained) No Sacks vs. Tamba Hali and Justin Houston. In fact, I think Houston put a hand on Jeff Tuel once. Held the Chiefs Offense to 9 points. Held Jamal Charles to less than 100 yards from scrimmage Real Teams should lo...
Re: NFL 2013
RBs for Sunday are: FredEx, Tashard Choice, and Ronnie Wingo. Wingo's newly promoted from the PS vice CB Brandon Burton. Frank Summers is still in at FB. Don't know much about Ronnie Wingo, besides the fact that he's listed 6'3", 231 and Tashard Choice dropped two screen passes against Miami. I...
Re: NFL 2013
A division win on the road is a division win on the road. But far from convincing. CJ Spiller needs to sit until he's 100%, watching him try to run is painful. Hackett will have to be content with Frank Summers, Tashard Choice and an 80% Fred Jackson. Marrone's shown a ruthless streak with personnel...
Re: NFL 2013
Sucks to be Jeff Tuel. Not just because he sucks, but because he gets playing time and the result is...a practice squad QB getting promoted over him.
Re: NFL 2013
Initial judgment...it seems like you can't scheme your DL to compensate for the absence of Vince Wilfork.
Bengals D is playing a hell of a game.

Re: NFL 2013
Hoyer's out for the season. EJ's sprained his LCL and is gone for 4-6 weeks. It's mock draft time...or is it Tebow Time? I think they bring in either Freeman or Vince Young. In many respects this is the worst possible outcome, because if EJ just sucked the Bills could cut bait and take their chances...

Somewhere, Donte Shouldabeenngata breathes a sigh of relief.
Re: NFL 2013
Also, my comments were regarding the play selection when they ran three times when it was 4:30 left. Bleed clock because the Ravens surrendered 200+ rushing yards. I was afraid Hackett would go back to hurry up and put the Ravens back on the field in 50 seconds. For everybody else: The Bills set up...
Re: NFL 2013
That was...evil, evil gamesmanship by Doug Marrone, I'll give you that.
Re: NFL 2013
That the Ravens will get anxious and hit EJ Manuel in the pocket. Which the Ravens Defense just did.
Re: NFL 2013
Don't worry, they're going to call this one back.
Re: NFL 2013
See? Right back in it.
Re: NFL 2013
Right. But you're playing the Bills. I still give you a chance in 2 of winning this game.Thanas wrote:Maybe because were down 13 and Ray Rice got 13 yards on 8 rushes?Falkenhayn wrote:I've got no idea why you're worried, or down.
