Re: Yosemite Bear (Colin Witz) has passed away
This is sad news. I've been a long time lurker, small time poster but he seemed like a genuinely nice guy and it makes me really sad that he passed.

Re: Celebrating 20 Years of the DC Animated Universe
Being born in 1989 I had the joy of growing up with the Timm-verse, and the Marvel Cartoons of the 90's. Some of my best memories are watching BTAS with my grandpa. Most things just seemed so inadequate after watching Batman, Superman, Spidey, and the X men, the other cartoons just couldnt compare.

It was a hard foul but it didn't seem like it was on purpose.

Re: NFL Season 2010. 'Bout GOD DAMNED TIME!
I hope this Bears/Seahawks game makes the 'OMG teh bears are the worst team evar, we don't deserve to be in the playoffs' whining many Bears fans are walking around with goes away. I know many people in real life and on the radio that honestly thought that the Seahawks were going to run away with th...

Re: The Clone Wars Season 3 discussion thread.
I believe that is a reference to the fact that Traviss said that Star Wars is a Three Way battle between the Sith, Jedi and Mandalorians or something similar to that.

Re: SGU S02E08 Malice (SPOILERS)
You're harsher and more vocal about it than others here at least i think so. But, I wasn't talking about those other places I don't visit those other places. And I'm not saying you're unfair or anything. I find you reviews helpful. I didn't mean to start an argument. I find it deeply amusing, not t...

Re: SGU S02E08 Malice (SPOILERS)
I phrased badly. You've had a harsher opinion than others. i didn't mean to say you were watching a show you didn't like or hated. It just seemed to me your overall opinion hasn't been too warm to SG:U. My apologies. I know that you gave other episodes high marks. Oh have I now? You honestly think ...

Re: SGU S02E08 Malice (SPOILERS)
I'm not going to lie. I couldn't stomach watching this episode after last weeks ending. Though, considering you rated this episode so highly and you think so low of the show I think I will need to watch it.

I think that just slowly flying really high over Coruscant at night would be beautiful.

Re: outsourcing homework to India
If it wasn't horribly unethical I would totally "outsource" homework that I don't have enough time to do really well because of other assignments or life distractions. And I'll echo that it is fucking amazing that they churn out PhD level work.

That seems oddly awesome. I loved A Christmas Carol as a young child.
Sweet, I see there are Chicago shows. I won't have to travel far at all.

Re: Trek Fleet counts
Something just came to mind: The Promethesis from Voyager was built at the Beta Antares ship yards. Beta Antares is a system Kirk visited - it has the gangster planet in "A Piece of the Action". Apparently the Federation did come back for their cut of the action, and eventually built high...

Hello. Long time lurker here. I'm a newbie from Illinois. My username comes from playing the game Red Faction on the PlayStation 2 as the second player. I shorthanded it to PLR2 for other video game and internet names because I'm not very creative. I like Sci-fi and fantasy and I'm here to engage in...
