Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide Epilogue Up

who would mccain have used as VP? Hopefully not Palin, or Huckabee. I've already speculated that both of them were Message deaths. Romney too, possibly. It probably would've helped McCain to not have an insane idiot as a running mate, especially after a lot of the demographic that likes insane idio...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide Epilogue Up

With the mass die-offs as a result of the Message, I don't doubt there's plenty of fertile (and needed) farmland on EARTH. Given the nearly infinite labor supply of second life humans, I can't see us sending living, breathing first-lifers to heaven to farm when resources could be put to more effect...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide Part Eighty Four Up

...do 'dead' people in hell age? Will the children ever grow up? Could the fetuses progress to full childhood and eventually adulthood? Or is everybody 'stuck' at the biological age that they died? No, they don't. They exist either at the age they died at or at their condition before serious ageing...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide Epilogue Up

So, if suicide is illegal, and punishment for crimes done in the first life can be held against you in the second life... Is there now jail time for offing yourself? ATTEMPTED suicide is illegal in some places. ACTUAL suicide is rarely (if ever) a crime since the 'perpetrator' cannot be arrested or...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide Part Eighty Four Up

That makes me think there's an epilogue still to come, unless he's changed his mind. The epilogue is still to come. It should be up tomorrow. Then, the third part will start next year sometime. I have to get back to the TBOverse with two stories there to finish, one to pubich (along with a short st...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide Part Eighty Four Up

I agree with Deebles. If someone has been sentenced and carried out their sentence, you can't tack on more time just because you find out the game has changed. I think most convicted Nazi war criminals would only have to sign certain oaths forswearing serving in goverment in hell and agree to some ...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide Part Eighty Four Up

I dunno, seems to me sending potentially quite a few unpleasant people out into the wilds with nobody to keep an eye on them would be just asking for them to form into a terrorist organization or something and start causing trouble.

Hofner1962 wrote:I want to know what the punishment will be for both the creator of auto-tune as well as boy bands.

Not nearly as heavy a question as who gets to kill the Nazi's again I'll admit.
Being forced to listen to recordings of their creations would seem appropriate.

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide Part Eighty Four Up

Well I think that a lot of people who did things that we would consider bad, were doing things that were considered normal at that time and place. Sure the people they were doing it to didn't like it but it wasn't considered out of the ordinary, and honestly the countries they were attacking probabl...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide Part Eighty Four Up

I don't even recall Dawkins being actively tortured, just crucified and stuck in the flaming river; Randi found out very quickly, and soon afterward he was rescued. Bayonet, thanks for clearing that up, I've been wondering that one for quite some time. Actually he was chained to a rock in a desert ...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide Part Eighty Four Up

And of course, I would like to know how the resurrection was pulled off. I know angels showing up in the tomb and pulling the body out deals with that, but what about the actual public appearances? Can a dead body be used much as a living one was by an angel? Probably an angel pulling off that mind...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide. Part Eighty One Up

somehow I don't think second lifers and first lifers can share organs, second life bodies are just way too different then first life bodies. They just wouldn't be biologically compatible.

Re: What are you reading right now?

I'm reading Fool Moon, book 2 of the Dresden Files. After that I think I'll finish reading Book 1 of the Codex Alera. But maybe not, I have a long queue of books to read.

Re: Evolutionary advantage of shapeshifters

Skin that can change texture, even a little, could be used to give them a better grip (by becoming rough, or even sticky), which could make them a bit better at climbing and catching things. Or they might become slippery to get away from an attacker. Also, size changing could also be used as a way t...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide. Part Eighty One Up

People can always compare evil people to Adolf Hitler,it isn't really necessary to have a "cosmic ultimate evil" (which is a silly idea in the first place frankly) to compare things to, humans have done enough evil things. And even if one was needed, just because Satan is dead doesn't mean...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide. Part Eighty One Up

Hi, I'm new, I'm another person that joined this forum just for this story. I've just got done reading all the threads for Armageddon and Pantheocide. Anyway, a couple of things I found an error in chapter 72 of Pantheocide "Me? I'll be dead. Very ]did and probably crushed out of this and any o...
