Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide Part Eighty Four Up
Sorry, after rereading my post I realize I wasn't terribly clear in my intent. I wasn't drawing offense to the tax evasion, was mentioning a train of thought I had at what Stuart had said never sat well with him, the idea of Romans doing in a wandering preacher who taught peace and harmony. My argum...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide Part Eighty Four Up
You realize that you're quoting a later interpretation of in turn the disciples' own (and in TSW untrue according to Peter) account of their teacher getting busted for tax evasion? We don't even know if Pontius Pilate existed in TSW, much less under that name. I'm not challenging what happened in u...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide Part Eighty Four Up
The situation was that Jeshua went around preaching his message while his disciples were fermenting mash and selling the product (moonshine has been known for a very long time; people didn;t know they were distilling things but production of strong spirits goes back a long way). They "forgot&q...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide. Part Eighty One Up
Hence all those poor people who got locked up for "hearing voices" To clarify - is this only for some people who have heard voices, or is EVERYBODY who has ever heard voices in their head in the TSW-verse a sensitive? Also...I'd like to see the reaction of Scientology to the idea of crazy...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide. Part Eighty Up
I was thinking in terms of slang naming that you might have "Buffaloes" (as in buffalo wings) for Angels, not just because of the wings, but also because of the whole thing about wiping out the great herds... I'm now seeing a HEA footsoldier humming "Buffalo Soldier" to himself ...

Re: Droning on...
Interesting. By that logic then these are drones too. So there's no defined difference between a drone and an unmanned aerial vehicle? Do satellites and other unmanned spacecraft count as drones then?

Droning on...
Hello all, I haven't posted much before at all, but I've lurked a lot. Anyhoo, my interests and training are in aircraft, and I'd like to learn more about unmanned aircraft. I was wondering something earlier today, and perhaps there is a technical definition which could answer this or an industry lo...

Re: Social Benefit of Limiting or Transferring Civil Liabili
This all makes massive amounts of sense from the standpoint of right and wrong, but what of affordability of the insurance? In the US at least (and I'm sure most first and second world countries) Liability Insurance is legally mandated for operating a car. It can be very difficult to get by in some ...

Re: The Salvation War: Pantheocide. Part Seventy Four Up
You know, this fragment makes me feel sad for poor Elhmas. He was Yah-yah's son, and still he is the last one that he calls for help. What does he tells you about their relationship? The guy was probably ignored his whole life, his father even ignored the notice of his death. That's cold. Remember ...

Pushed, not killed. I find it ironic that they wanted to watch a gospel show too. "Thou shalt not kill", the whole peaceful message and all that...perhaps they should have watched that.Lonestar wrote:Piss off enough people enough times expect to get pushed back.
