My favorite part of this episode? The somehow death of the "warp engines damage subspace". The issue itself was an interesting, universe-affecting plot point, but unfortunately only used on like a couple of dialogue in later episodes.

I'm not familiar with the animated series, but is this the first time post prequel that Force users are not midi-chlorian based?

They're also doing a musical episode later. Not sure why the showrunners made this season with more light-hearted episodes. Not complaining, just feeling it kind of odd for a 10 episode season.

I kept watching the space battle scene. Luthen handled the situation in a ruthless cool.

3rd episode...the series creates their own "Q".

4th episode is wow....the Krills going all back to arrogant fundie roots and doing a MAGA was an unexpected twist. But since it's early in the season I guess it's a setup for something to resolve later.

Additionally, I can't help but wonder whether budget restraints resulted in Vader's ship in orbit basically not doing anything (nor even shown later). They could've at least used some dialogue such as immediately entering hyperspace once clearing the planet to resolve the situation.

Was there any reason why Reva didn't cut through the doors in the first place? It seemed like a forced excuse to set up the dialogue between her and Obi-Wan.
