Re: World of Tanks
I enjoy playing my BT-2, but quite often I see other tanks moving oddly and try to shoot enemies trough houses or mountains, or they simply shoot in the air all the time. I can't decide if it's a bot, a total noob or a small child. (The kid of a friend of mine play WoT and is 8.) My question is: How...

Re: Norweigian Claims He Killed 77 in "Self-Defense".
Quisling selling out the entire country and helping register and round up its Jews for deportation kind of was this bad, and much worse. He was executed for murder and treason. Yes, he did. That's worse, but he was considered a war criminal and was excecuted by a firing squad, hence why I wrote &qu...

Re: Norweigian Claims He Killed 77 in "Self-Defense".
Just want to add that Sea Skimmer got it mostly right. This... traitor to the nation and mass murderer of children has done something unheard of in Norway in peace time. The maximum sentence in Norway is 21 years, and with good behavior he could theoretically be out after 15 years, but that will not...

Re: World of Tanks
Sometimes, I regret I didn't go the russian line. Those tanks seems to dish out a lot more damage... Well, it depends on the tank. In general the Russian mediums aren't that great between the T-34-85 (excellent gun for its tier) and the T-54 (best medium tank overall). The T-43 is just a bit better...

Re: World of Tanks
The VKDB gets short-changed in the gun department. The 8,8 cm KwK 36 L/56 penetrates a mere 132, which is totally inadequate at tier-7. The Panthers 7,5 cm KwK 45 L/100 doesn't do much damage per shot, but it does penetrate 198 and has a good rate of fire (as well as laser like accuracy). On the pl...

Re: World of Tanks
Being a KV-5, weren't you the red horde? Yeah, kind of. Since the teams are so mixed, I used the term to represent all the red dots on my minimap. :D I follow the german line, but have a KV-5, T-59 and a BT-2 from the russian/chinese line. The only reason I bothered with the A-20, was that he avoid...

Re: World of Tanks
So, I got myself a KV-5 in hope of grinding some xp. It's working so-so so far... I tend to die either by arty fire or shots from the really big guns in the game. Oh well... At least I get to try a heavy tank. My goal is the Tiger II, but having only an Pz III/IV, it's a little while until I get th...

Re: World of Tanks
Really random post. Does anyone have any high res pics of maps? As in top down views? I'm looking for the one which is a big town, tracks down one side, a big hill on the other. Big open square in the middle. If Himmelsdorf is the one, then this is the biggest map I could find: http://wiki.worldoft...

Slog your way up to either a tier 10 heavy or tier 8 arty and join a clan. But if you drive anything else, good luck finding a clan that will take you. Ah, Since I'm currently at PzIII/IV, Grille and StugIII, that means I'm still going to use my credit card for a while. Yeah, nights like that are n...

Re: World of Tanks
How do you earn gold? I thought you had to buy gold and could only earn silver. I still love my Hetzer, although I now have a StugIII, I still play a lot with it. Played Steppes and scored 4 kills with one shot each. Damaged some, too. Then I played Malinokva with Grille and got 5 kills and one dama...

Re: World of Tanks
The Hetzer is a rolling advertisement for the awesomeness of slopped armour. 60mm of well sloped frontal on a tier 4 is a nightmare to pen if you don't out tier it or have a really shooty gun on your tank. Indeed. I like my Hetzer. I played Lakeville earlier today and had hidden myself in the upper...

A wild shot: Proto Motors? The "O" in their logo looks close to your drawings. Maybe they use their "O" as a logo? I couldn't find much substancial, tough. Wiki says: "Presently, the company specializes in redesigning existing models by developing electric cars or convertibl...

A friend of mine just finished his PhD thesis and sent me a copy. It's "Spectroscopic Investigation of Indium Bromide for Lighting Purposes" (pdf, 20Mb). I fear that my flirt with this book will be a short one. I'm currently reading the introduction (chapter 1), but after that, all these w...

If you lost the pages you were visiting and remember something from them, maybe you can find some in the history log (ctrl+H) ? I know its not exactly what you asked for, but maybe it can help a little?

Re: 10-year-old doesn't say pledge at school for gay rights
I decided to comment: The kid only did this because of the gays, and it is the gays' fault for converting this child into an anti-american terrorist hate-criminal. To defend the kid's freedom, the American Military must declare a War on Gay Terror and go lynch some homosexuals. Because if the gays ...

What about separating the openings of the digestive track and the airways? That way, if you choke on food, you can still breath. Of course, this does limit oxygen intake because you can't use your mouth but some tweaking with the nose should help with that. Oh yeah, that would be nice. At the top o...
