God. Everything about this story makes me want to vomit. I think the sickest thing is the way he compared the porn star he was banging to his daughter.
Ugh..... Just.........
I think i'm going to go gouge my eyes out so I don't have to read the next disgusting thing about him that gets leaked.

Re: Star Wars: The Last Jedi release thread (spoilers)
So it looks like all of the spoilers I read were true. I couldn't be more disappointed in this film. The character (and actual) assassination of Luke is something I can never forgive. Luke Skywalker was one of the first heroes I ever had growing up. When they described how he would be a "broken...

Re: Star Wars: The Last Jedi release thread (spoilers)
Eh, if your appreciation of this movie is heavily dependent on liking Rey, then I dare say I'll enjoy it. ;) So yeah, if you don't care for Rey, I get why that would bother you. But its not really a con for me. I'd probably like her more if they weren't taking all the meaning out of the OT so they ...

Re: Star Wars: The Last Jedi release thread (spoilers)
Plus it helps that I legitimately like the new characters. See that's where we differ. I'm really not that invested in the new characters outside of Finn, and some of the spoilers make it sound like he and Poe get shoved aside to focus on the far less interesting Rey. Also, there's one specific spo...

Re: Star Wars: The Last Jedi release thread (spoilers)
May I ask why? I've heard some disquieting rumors about how this film will approach the Force and Luke/Rey's characterizations, but nothing of note in the last few days. And I'm inclined to take such criticisms with a barrel of salt, given that denouncing the latest Star Wars film for ruining the f...

Re: Star Wars: The Last Jedi release thread (spoilers)
Ok, my excitement for this film has officially turned to dread. If the most widely reported spoilers are true, I can't see a way to salvage the Sequel Trilogy as part of the greater Star Wars saga.

Re: Star Wars: The Last Jedi release thread (spoilers)
The Visual dictionary has extensive info on new ship and walker types. There are scans of it floating around but I won't post them here. On the story front, if the rumors/spoilers i've heard turn out to be true, I'm not going to like this movie at all. Possibly to the extent that i'll be done with S...

Re: Trump Dump: Foreign Policy (Thread I)
I'm seeing reports that Putin's favorite ventriloquist dummy Medvedev is claiming that the U.S. and Russia are "On the verge of a military clash." Now, I don't think anyone's stupid enough to spark WW3 over this, but 2016/2017 seems to be the period of "this can't happen...... oh shit...

Re: 2016 US ELECTION: Official Results Thread
I am absolutely fucking terrified at this point as winning the presidency and the legislature gives the Reps the power to repeal the ACA and put me into permanent wage slavery to cover my medical bills.
At this point one of my better options looks to be saving up for a gun and a single bullet.

Yes, the Trade Defence force already existed pre-palpatine http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120407193008/starwars/images/5/57/Trade_Defense_Force.jpg This is the picture used to symbolize it in the book it appears in. Re: Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
Aftermath (the novel) gives us the bloody suppression of those Coruscant celebrations. More than that actually. According to the TFA timeline panel at Celebration, the empire still controls Coruscant and the other core worlds, with the galaxy being split between the Empire and an outer rim based Ne...

Re: I am a fictional charcter now [Tom Kratman]
See I know people like to lump Kratman and Ringo in together, but to me, this is what separates the two. Kratman's fragile ego can't handle the slightest criticism, wheras Ringo seems much more jovial about it.

Re: Lucasarts on GOG
You can't play the music with the Steam version, because it required the CD. the GOG version includes the music natively. Yes they do. It's a tad glitchy, but it's there. But the No-CD crack they use gets flagged and deleted by your antivirus program, so you need to add an exception for both XvT an...

Re: Star Wars stand-alone film named.
No need to worry. The stories are just as real as they were five years ago. Corran Horn is still around. OK question. How did this become the stock response to someone bemoaning the loss of the EU? Yes, we get it. There is no Disney death squad that will come to burn our collections, and that's gre...

Clone Wars vs. TCW
Out of the two portrayals of the Clone Wars, which do you prefer?
Clone Wars includes all material released during the 2002-2005 multimedia project such as the micro series, the comics, and novels.
TCW includes the 2008-2014 children's cartoon and all related spin off material.

Re: Star Wars Battlefront (Cinimatic) Trailer released
Yeah, I'm not likely to get this anytime soon now. The lack of a dedicated campaign is a major turn off for me really, since I've never much cared for online multiplayer outside Halo and old Medal of Honor when Gamespy was still around. I don't even care about a campaign. Just give me instant actio...

Re: Star Wars Battlefront (Cinimatic) Trailer released
Apparently there is no PT era battles, no space battles, no campaign. Gameplay wise, this seems to be a downgrade from BF 2. This is what pisses me off. I could have fun with battlefront 2 even when I didn't have reliable high-speed internet or lots of online friends to play with. This is multi or ...

But all of that could be forgiven. Except for this: Minimalism is back by having the empire rely on supplies procured by Jabba the Hutt and those supplies being of critical importance. So critical that both Vader and Tagge are micromanaging them. Well that's just fucking wonderful. Why am I getting...

Can they be blamed for character deaths? I thought the decision to start offing people for the sake of "DRAMA" was made at the editorial level.

Re: New Star Wars book; Aftermath
It would be a major hack writing disaster if it were true though. I suppose there's a slim chance it could turn out well. The "brother turns to the dark side, sister must stop/redeem him" plot from LotF certainly had potential to be epic and compelling. It was Travis's and Denning's fault...
